KinduApp was started because the existing review landscape for kink and BDSM gear often rewards inflated scores. We score honestly, and we explain why.
How we pick what to test
We start with reader requests, then add products that win editorial attention in their categories — flagships from established makers, notable new entrants, and category staples we revisit every few years. We don't accept submissions in exchange for review.
How we test
Every product is purchased independently or returned at the end of the review window. We use it the way a real owner would, for at least four weeks, and ideally several months. Long-term durability tests run for two years; we update the review when the product's score changes materially.
How we score
Scores run from 0 to 10, in tenths. We weight materials and build quality (40%), ergonomics and usability (30%), longevity (20%), and value at the asking price (10%). The score is a verdict, not a ranking — two products at 8.5 in different categories aren't directly comparable.
Disclosure
KinduApp purchases products independently or returns review samples after testing. Editorial judgment controls every score and recommendation.
